If you enjoy a drink ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, credit cards and checks out of the casino. Grab only the cash you expect to spend on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a success following a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and bet. The two just do not go well together.
Leaving your money at home is a bit drastic, but preventative measures for dramatic behavior is required. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and gamble.
